As health, allied health and clinical professionals we should be practicing trauma-informed care (TIC) regardless of trauma disclosure. TIC is a patient-centered approach to healthcare that calls on health professionals to provide care in a way that prevents re-traumatization of patients, clients and staff. This dynamic and interactive workshop will discuss the events and experiences by stakeholders of the healthcare system. This workshop will also discuss intersectionality and health equity in our region.
